Abstract
(EN) The invention related to a process for the production of a PA-MXDT/ZT polyamide copolymer comprising the following steps: • i. providing a solid MXDT/ZT salt, wherein MXD is meta-xylylenediamine, T is terephthalic acid, Z is a linear aliphatic diamine having from 2 to 12 carbon atoms and wherein amount of Z is from 5 to 40 mole % with respect to the total amount of MXD and Z units in the copolymer and wherein the MXDT/ZT salt is provided by dosing of liquid diamines MXD and Z to a powder of terephthalic acid; • ii. heating the solid MXDT/ZT salt to a first condensation temperature (Tc1) thereby condensing the salt in solid state to produce a solid polyamide copolymer, wherein Tc1 is below the melting temperature (Tm-salt) of said salt. The invention further relates to a PA-MXDT/ZT polyamide copolymer, wherein MXD is meta-xylylenediamine, T is terephthalic acid, Z is a linear aliphatic diamine having from 2 to 12 carbon atom, Z is from 5 to 40 mole % with respect to the total of MXD and Z units in the copolymer.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé pour la production d'un copolymère polyamide PA-MXDT/ZT, comprenant les étapes suivantes : i. l'utilisation d'un sel solide de MXDT/ZT, MXD représentant la méta-xylylènediamine, T représentant l'acide téréphtalique, Z représentant une diamine aliphatique linéaire ayant de 2 à 12 atomes de carbone et la quantité de Z étant 5 à 40 % en mole par rapport à la quantité totale des motifs MXD et Z dans le copolymère et le sel de MXDT/ZT étant obtenu par ajout dosé des diamines MXD et Z liquides à une poudre d'acide téréphtalique ; et ii. le chauffage du sel de MXDT/ZT solide à une première température de condensation (Tc1) ce qui condense de cette manière le sel à l'état solide pour produire un copolymère polyamide solide, Tc1 étant au-dessous de la température de fusion (Tm-sel) dudit sel. L'invention porte en outre sur un copolymère polyamide PA-MXDT/ZT, MXD représentant la méta-xylylènediamine, T représentant l'acide téréphtalique, Z représentant une diamine aliphatique linéaire ayant de 2 à 12 atomes de carbone et Z étant présent à hauteur de 5 à 40 % en mole par rapport au total des motifs MXD et Z présents dans le copolymère.
