Abstract
(EN) Disclosed is a device (102) that receives an optical signal (107) having an authorization code that allows the device (102) to utilize an access point (130) to obtain access to the Internet (140) and other networks (142). The device (102) may include: a modem (110); a light sensor (104); and a processor (112). The light sensor (104) may receive an optical signal (107) from a light source. The processor (112) may execute operations including: processing the received optical signal (107) to identify an authorization code and to connect the device (102) through the modem (110) to the access point (130) based upon the authorization code such that the device (102) may obtain access to the Internet (140) and other networks (142).
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif (102) qui reçoit un signal optique (107) ayant un code d'autorisation qui permet au dispositif (102) d'utiliser un point d'accès (130) afin d'obtenir un accès à l'Internet (140) et à d'autres réseaux (142). Le dispositif selon l'invention (102) peut comprendre : un modem (110) ; un capteur optique (104) ; et un processeur (112). Le capteur optique (104) peut recevoir un signal optique (107), d'une source de lumière.
