Abstract
(EN) A method of grinding workpieces of aluminium alloys to achieve high surface quality, where the workpiece is machined in an environment comprising a semi-synthetic liquid with a concentration of 3 to 7%, by a grinding wheel with the grain of green silicon carbide of a size smaller than 200μm, in a bonding agent consisting of synthetic resin, at a circumferential speed of the workpiece in the range of 20 to 30 m-min-1, where the cutting speed of the grinding wheel is in the range of 35 to 40 m.s-1, the radial feed rate during plunge grinding is between 0.07 to 0.13 mm-min-1 or the longitudinal axial feed raters between 0.01 to 0.04 m.min-1.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé de meulage de pièces en alliage d'aluminium pour obtenir une qualité de surface élevée, la pièce étant usinée dans un environnement comprenant un liquide semi-synthétique à une concentration de 3 à 7 %, par une meule comprenant des grains de carbure de silicium cru de taille inférieure à 200 μm dans un agent liant constitué d'une résine synthétique, à une vitesse périphérique de la pièce dans la plage de 20 à 30 m.min-1, la vitesse de coupe de la meule étant dans la plage de 35 à 40 m.s-1, la vitesse d'avance radiale pendant le meulage en plongée étant comprise entre 0,07 et 0,13 mm.min-1 ou la vitesse d'avance axiale longitudinale étant comprise entre 0,01 et 0,04 m.min-1.
