Abstract
(EN) The present invention addresses the problem of providing a series of techniques for producing 1,4-butanediol from methanol or the like. A recombinant cell which is produced by introducing a gene encoding at least one enzyme selected from the group consisting of succinate semialdehyde dehydrogenase, succinyl-CoA synthetase, CoA-dependent succinate semialdehyde dehydrogenase, 4-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, 4-hydroxybutyryl-CoA transferase, 4-hydroxybutyryl-CoA reductase, 4-hydroxybutyraldehyde dehydrogenase and alcohol dehydrogenase into a host cell that is a methylotroph, wherein the gene can be expressed in the host cell, said recombinant cell being capable of producing 1,4-butanediol from at least one C1 compound selected from the group consisting of methane, methanol, methylamine, formic acid, formaldehyde and formamide.
(FR) La présente invention aborde le problème de fournir une série de techniques pour la production de 1,4-butanediol à partir du méthanol ou similaire. L'invention concerne une cellule recombinante qui est produite par l'introduction d'un gène codant au moins pour une enzyme choisie dans le groupe consistant en la semi-aldéhyde succinique déshydrogénase, la succinyl-CoA synthétase, la semi-aldéhyde succinique déshydrogénase dépendante de CoA, la 4-hydroxybutyrate déshydrogénase, la 4-hydroxybutyryl-CoA transférase, la 4-hydroxybutyryl-CoA réductase, la 4-hydroxybutyraldéhyde déshydrogénase et l'alcool déshydrogénase dans une cellule hôte qui est un méthylotrophe, le gène pouvant être exprimé dans la cellule hôte, ladite cellule recombinante étant apte à produire du 1,4-butanediol à partir d'au moins un composé C1 choisi dans le groupe consistant en méthane, méthanol, méthylamine, acide formique, formaldéhyde et formamide.
