Abstract
(EN) A system and method are disclosed for regulating drilling fluid pressure in a drilling fluid circulation system. In one embodiment, a drilling fluid circulation system includes a processor (110) connected to a pressure relief device (104), which is connected to piping between a discharge of a drilling fluid pump (30) and an inlet of a drill string (31). The processor receives pressure measurement signals representative of a pressure of the drilling fluid in the piping and flow parameter signals representative of a flow of the drilling fluid through the piping. From the pressure measurement signals and the flow parameter signals, the processor determines that a target pressure parameter of the drilling fluid in the piping is not satisfied. In response, the processor lowers the pressure of the drilling fluid in the piping until the target pressure parameter is satisfied by at least partially opening the pressure relief device.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de régulation de la pression de fluide de forage dans un système de circulation de fluide de forage. Selon un mode de réalisation, un système de circulation de fluide de forage comprend un processeur (110) raccordé à un limiteur de pression (104) lui-même raccordé à une conduite entre une évacuation d'une pompe pour fluide de forage (30) et une admission d'un train de tiges (31). Le processeur reçoit des signaux de mesure de pression représentant une pression de fluide de forage dans la conduite et des signaux de paramètres d'écoulement représentant un écoulement de fluide de forage dans la conduite. À partir des signaux de mesure de pression et des signaux de paramètres d'écoulement, le processeur détermine qu'un paramètre de pression cible du fluide de forage dans la conduite n'est pas satisfaisant. En réponse, le processeur réduit la pression du fluide de forage dans la conduite jusqu'à ce que le paramètre de pression cible soit satisfaisant en ouvrant au moins partiellement le limiteur de pression.
