(FR) ANTAGONISTES POLYPEPTIDIQUES DU RÉCEPTEUR DE L'IL-23 HUMAINE POUR LE TRAITEMENT DE MALADIES AUTO-IMMUNES
Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a novel class of polypeptides (REX binders), derived from an albumin-binding domain of the streptococcal protein G that inhibit binding of human IL-23 cytokine to its cognate IL-23 receptor. Blocking of interaction between p19/IL-23 subunit with the receptor leads to the suppresion of IL-23-dependent pro-inflammatory signaling pathway, resulting in an inhibitory effect on IL-23-stimulated Th-17 cell expansion. The invention further provides a DNA sequence encoding for such polypeptides and host cells containing such sequence. The polypeptides of the invention are useful as therapeutics and diagnostics.˙
(FR) La présente invention concerne une nouvelle classe de polypeptides (liants REX), dérivés d'un domaine de liaison à l'albumine de la protéine streptococcique G qui inhibe la liaison de la cytokine IL-23 humaine à son récepteur d'IL-23 cognate. Le blocage de l'interaction entre la sous-unité p19/IL-23 et le récepteur entraîne la suppression de la voie de signalisation pro-inflammatoire dépendant de l'IL-23, résultant en un effet inhibiteur de l'expansion des cellules Th-17 stimulée par l'IL-23. L'invention concerne en outre une séquence d'ADN codant pour de tels polypeptides et des cellules hôtes contenant une telle séquence. Les polypeptides selon l'invention sont utiles comme composés thérapeutiques et diagnostiques.
