Abstract
(EN) Chewing gums and chewing gum bases which are cud-forming and chewable at mouth temperature contain a block polymer having at least four blocks Composed of at least two different monomer systems. The block polymer exhibits an Order-Disorder Transition temperature in the range of 10 to 250°C. Chewed cuds of the chewing gum may exhibit improved removability from environmental surfaces to which they may become undesirably attached. A processing method in which the gum is mixed and/or sheeted at a temperature above the Order-Disorder Transition temperature is described.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des chewing-gums et des gommes bases qui forment des produits à mâcher, pouvant être mâchés à la température de la bouche et contenant un polymère séquencé comportant au moins quatre séquences constituées d'au moins deux systèmes monomères différents. Ledit polymère séquencé présente une température de transition ordre/désordre se situant dans un intervalle de 10 à 250 °C. Des morceaux mâchés dudit chewing-gum peuvent se révéler plus faciles à retirer de surfaces de l'environnement sur lesquelles ils se sont malencontreusement retrouvés collés. L'invention concerne également un procédé de transformation dans le cadre duquel la gomme est mélangée et/ou laminée à une température supérieure à la température de transition ordre/désordre.
