This speed calculating device for calculating the speed of an object in the perimeter of a moving body is provided with: an image detection unit which images the perimeter of the moving body and detects objects by means of the imaged images; and a speed calculation unit which calculates the speed of an object by utilizing, in a proportion corresponding to the distance from the moving body to the object, the moving body speed, which indicates the speed of the moving body, and the image speed, which indicates the speed of the object and is calculated from the images; specifically, the speed of the object is calculated using the moving body speed and the image speed in a proportion in which the greater the distance to the object, the higher the ratio of the moving body speed, and the smaller the distance to the object, the higher the ratio of the image speed.

Ce dispositif de calcul de vitesse permettant de calculer la vitesse d'un objet dans le périmètre d'un corps en marche comprend : une unité de détection d'images qui capture des images dans le périmètre du corps en marche et détecte des objets au moyen des images capturées ; et une unité de calcul de vitesse qui calcule la vitesse d'un objet en utilisant, dans une proportion correspondant à la distance entre le corps en marche et l'objet, la vitesse du corps en marche qui indique la vitesse du corps en marche, et la vitesse de l'image qui indique la vitesse de l'objet et est calculée à partir des images ; de manière spécifique, la vitesse de l'objet est calculée en prenant la vitesse du corps en marche et la vitesse de l'image dans une proportion selon laquelle plus grande est la distance à l'objet, plus élevé est le rapport de la vitesse du corps en marche, et plus petite est la distance à l'objet, plus élevé est le rapport de la vitesse de l'image.

移動体周囲の物体の速度を算出する速度算出装置であって、移動体周囲を撮像し撮像した画像により物体を検出する画像検出部と、移動体の速度を示す移動体速度と、物体の速度を示し画像から算出される画像速度とを移動体から物体までの距離に応じた割合で用いて、物体の速度を算出するものであり、物体までの距離が大きいほど移動体速度の比率が高くなり、物体までの距離が小さいほど画像速度の比率が高くなる割合で移動体速度及び画像速度を用いて物体の速度を算出する速度算出部とを備える。
