Abstract:
(EN) The present subject matter provides an adhesive article having a release agent or liner that is free of silicon-containing and fluorine-containing material, and related methods of adhering a backing material of the adhesive article to a substrate. The adhesive article utilizes an amorphous polyvinyl alcohol layer that facilitates removal of an optional release liner from an adhesive layer. Upon removal of the release liner, the amorphous polyvinyl alcohol layer remains disposed on the adhesive layer. A method of adhering the backing material to a substrate includes dissolving the amorphous polyvinyl alcohol layer and disposing the backing material to a substrate. During dissolution of the amorphous polyvinyl alcohol layer, a weak, temporary bond is formed between the substrate and the backing material. When the amorphous polyvinyl alcohol layer substantially dissolves and dries, the adhesive layer is exposed and forms a permanent bond with the substrate.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un article adhésif comportant un agent ou revêtement anti-adhérent dépourvu de matière contenant du silicium et de matière contenant du fluor; l'invention concerne également des procédés associés de collage d'un support de l'article adhésif à un substrat. L'article adhésif utilise une couche amorphe d'alcool polyvinylique qui facilite le retrait d'un revêtement anti-adhésif facultatif d'une couche adhésive. Après retrait du revêtement anti-adhérent, la couche amorphe d'alcool polyvinylique reste sur la couche adhésive. L'invention concerne également un procédé de collage du support à un substrat consistant à dissoudre la couche amorphe d'alcool polyvinylique et à disposer le support sur un substrat. Lors de la dissolution de la couche amorphe d'alcool polyvinylique, un lien faible et provisoire se forme entre le substrat et le support. Lorsque la couche amorphe d'alcool polyvinylique se dissout sensiblement et sèche, la couche adhésive est exposée et forme un lien permanent avec le substrat.
