The present invention relates to a coatings consisting of TiO2 photocatalyst at the surface of polymers, activated upon sunlight irradiation that are deposited on the substrate material which is organic polymer and the coating consists of nanocrystalline titanium(IV) oxide. The invention also provides a process for production of such coatings and their applications.

Cette invention concerne des revêtements à base d'un photocatalyseur de TiO2 appliqués à la surface de polymères, et activés par exposition à l'énergie solaire qui sont déposés sur le matériau de substrat qui est un polymère organique, lesdits revêtements étant constitués d'oxyde de titane(IV) nanocristallin. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de production desdits revêtements et leurs applications.
