Abstract
(EN) Systems, apparatus and methods are provided for interconnection of one or more Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) devices. The system preferably comprises a virtualized or virtual server which in turn comprises a virtual machine having an FCoE device interconnection apparatus controller, a virtual switch, the virtual switch being coupled to the FCoE device interconnection apparatus controller, and a network interface. The network interface is coupled to the virtual switch, which in turn couples to an Ethernet fabric. A first Ethernet link couples the network interface to the Ethernet fabric. One or more Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) devices are coupled to the Ethernet fabric via Ethernet links.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur des systèmes, un appareil et des procédés pour une interconnexion d'un ou plusieurs dispositifs de canal de fibres optiques sur Ethernet (FCoE). Le système comprend de préférence un serveur virtuel ou virtualisé qui à son tour comprend une machine virtuelle ayant un contrôleur d'appareil d'interconnexion de dispositif FCoE, un commutateur virtuel, le commutateur virtuel étant couplé au contrôleur d'appareil d'interconnexion de dispositif FCoE, et une interface réseau. L'interface réseau est couplée au commutateur virtuel, qui à son tour se couple une toile Ethernet. Une première liaison Ethernet couple l'interface réseau à la toile Ethernet. Un ou plusieurs dispositifs de canal de fibres optiques sur Ethernet (FCoE) sont couplés à la toile Ethernet par l'intermédiaire de liaisons Ethernet.
