(EN)Systems and methods are provided for mitigating natural and man-made interference through the use of one or more orthogonal, or nearly-orthogonal, projections of the received signal, which is assumed to be contaminated with interference, into one or more orthogonal projection spaces based on properties of the signal of interest. Once separated into orthogonal projection space(s), the system and method use information contained in the orthogonal projection space(s) to separate the signal of interest, or target signal, from the interference and to mitigate the interference.
(FR)L'invention concerne des systèmes et procédés permettant d'atténuer le parasitage d'origine naturelle ou humaine, par un recours à une ou plusieurs projections orthogonales ou quasi-orthogonales du signal reçu, lorsqu'un tel signal est susceptible d'être parasité. La projection s'effectue à destination d'au moins un espace de projection en fonction des propriétés du signal considéré. Après avoir réalisé une séparation donnant un ou plusieurs espaces de projection orthogonale, le système et le procédé impliquent d'utiliser l'information contenue dans les espaces de projection orthogonale considérés, de façon à séparer des parasites le signal considéré, ou le signal cible, et à atténuer le parasitage.
