A method for operating an interference coordinating entity (ICE) includes partitioning, by the ICE, a cloud radio access network (CRAN) cluster by grouping transmission points (TPs) serving user equipments (UEs) in accordance with a partitioning criterion into at least one virtual transmission point (V-TP) to produce a V-TP set (block 805). The UEs to be served are preferably offset from a V-TP boundary. The method also includes saving, by the ICE, V-TP information to a memory (block 807).

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fonctionnement d'une entité de coordination du brouillage (ICE), qui comprend le partitionnement, par ladite ICE, d'une grappe réseau d'accès radio cloud (CRAN) grâce à un regroupement des points de transmission (TP) desservant des équipements utilisateur (UE) en fonction d'un critère de partitionnement, pour obtenir au moins un point de transmission virtuel (V-TP) et créer un ensemble de V-TP (bloc 805). Les UE devant être desservis sont de préférence éloignés d'une limite de V-TP. Ledit procédé comprend également la sauvegarde, par l'ICE, d'informations de V-TP dans une mémoire (bloc 807).
