Title: HEAT EXCHANGER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND REFRIGERATION CYCLE DEVICE
Abstract:
This heat exchanger comprises: a plurality of plate-shaped fins (11) that are stacked at predetermined intervals and between which air flows, the fin (11) being made of a metal including aluminum and having insertion holes; and a plurality of flat tubes (12) made of a metal including aluminum and inserted into the fins such that a refrigerant flows through each tube along the direction in which the fins (11) are stacked, each tube having a cross-sectional shape wherein the long sides are formed as straight lines and the short sides are formed as semicircular curved lines, both the outer peripheral surfaces on the long sides and the outer peripheral surface on the short side that contacts the fin (11) being covered with a wax material. The tip end part of a fin collar (18) of the fin (11) contacts the flat tube (12), and there is a space between the base part of the fin collar (18) and the flat tube (12). The thickness of the wax material covering the short side of the flat tube (12) is made thinner than the thickness of the wax material covering the long sides thereof. The fin (11) and the flat tube (12) are joined by a wax cladding material (15) including the wax material covering the outer peripheral surfaces of the flat tube (12). Thus, joining is performed easily and reliably.
