Abstract:
Provided are: an aluminum alloy foil for an electrode current collector, which can have high strength after the application of an active material thereonto and the subsequent drying of the resultant product in the production of a battery and has excellent heat resistance; a method for producing the aluminum alloy foil; and a lithium ion secondary battery. The present invention provides: an aluminum alloy foil for an electrode current collector, said aluminum alloy foil being characterized by containing 0.1 to 0.5 mass% ("mass%" is simply abbreviated to "%", hereinafter) of Fe, 0.01 to 0.5% of Si, 0.01 to 0.2% of Cu and 0.01 to 0.5% of Mn, with the remainder made up by Al and unavoidable impurities, and also characterized in that the tensile strength of the aluminum alloy foil becomes 210 MPa or more after heating the aluminum alloy foil that has been subjected to final rolling at 100˚C for 24 hours, at 150˚C for 3 hours or at 200˚C for 15 minutes; a method for producing the aluminum alloy foil; and a lithium ion secondary battery.
