Abstract

Provided is an optical element that can generate and extinguish a diffraction grating and can change the grating pitch of the appearing diffraction grating. The optical element includes a pair of opposing substrates (1a,1b), a plurality of electrodes (2a,2b) arranged on one of the substrates (1b), an electrochromic layer (4) disposed so as to be in contact with the plurality of electrodes (2a,2b), and a counter electrode (3) disposed so as to oppose the plurality of electrodes (2a,2b) with the electrochromic layer (4) therebetween. The optical element further includes insulating layers (6) each disposed between the substrate (1b) and one of two adjacent electrodes (2b) in the plurality of electrodes (2a,2b) and each having a thickness larger than that of the other electrode (2a) of the two adjacent electrodes (2a,2b).

La présente invention concerne un élément optique qui peut générer et éteindre un réseau de diffraction et peut changer le pas de réseau du réseau de diffraction apparaissant. L'élément optique comprend une paire de substrats opposés (1a, 1b), une pluralité d'électrodes (2a, 2b) disposées sur un des substrats (1b), une couche électrochromique (4) disposée de façon à être en contact avec la pluralité d'électrodes (2a, 2b), et une contre-électrode (3) disposée de façon à être opposée à la pluralité d'électrodes (2a, 2b), la couche électrochromique (4) étant entre elles. L'élément optique comprend en outre des couches isolantes (6) disposées chacune entre le substrat (1b) et une de deux électrodes (2b) adjacentes dans la pluralité d'électrodes (2a, 2b) et chacune possédant une épaisseur plus grande que celle de l'autre électrode (2a) des deux électrodes adjacentes (2a, 2b).
