Abstract:
(EN) A method of video coding in respect of a 4:2:2 chroma subsampling format comprises dividing image data into transform units; in the case of a non-square transform unit, splitting the non-square transform unit into square blocks prior to applying a spatial frequency transform; and applying a spatial frequency transform to the square blocks to generate corresponding sets of spatial frequency coefficients.
(FR) Procédé de codage vidéo concernant un format de sous-échantillonnage de chrominance de type 4:2:2, consistant à diviser des données d'image en unités transformées ; en cas d'unité transformée non carrée, à diviser l'unité transformée non carrée en blocs carrés avant application d'une transformée de fréquence spatiale ; et à appliquer une transformée de fréquence spatiale aux blocs carrés pour produire des ensembles correspondants de coefficients de fréquence spatiale.
