(FR) PROCÉDÉ ET SYSTÈME POUR ANALYSE D'IMAGE
Abstract:
(EN) A method for processing an image is disclosed. The method comprises: • - identifying a group of keypoints in the image; • - for each keypoint of the group; • • a) calculating a corresponding descriptor array including a plurality of array elements, each array element storing values taken by a corresponding color gradient histogram of a respective sub-region of the image in the neighborhood of the keypoint; • b) generating at least one compressed descriptor array by compressing at least one portion of the descriptor array by means of vector quantization using a codebook (CBK) comprising a plurality of codewords (CW).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'image. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes consistant à : identifier un groupe de points-clés dans l'image ; et, pour chaque point-clé du groupe : a) calculer une matrice de descripteurs correspondante comprenant une pluralité d'éléments de matrice, chaque élément de matrice stockant des valeurs prises par un histogramme de gradient de couleur d'une sous-région respective de l'image au voisinage du point-clé ; b) générer au moins une matrice de descripteurs compressée par compression d'au moins une partie de la matrice de descripteurs au moyen d'une quantification vectorielle faisant appel à un livre de codes (CBK) comprenant une pluralité de mots codés (CW).
