Es wird eine Laserzündeinrichtung (100) für eine Brennkraftmaschine (102) vorgestellt, wobei die Laserzündeinrichtung (100) mindestens eine Laserzündkerze (110) und eine Kühleinrichtung (120) zum Temperieren, insbesondere Kühlen, der Laserzündkerze (110) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Kühleinrichtung (120) einen eine Kühlflüssigkeit (128) enthaltenden Kühlkreislauf (122) auf, der thermisch mit wenigstens einer Komponente der Laserzündkerze (110) verbindbar ist, wobei ein Volumen der in dem Kühlkreislauf (122) enthaltenen Kühlflüssigkeit (128) kleiner oder gleich etwa fünfzig Prozent eines Kompressionsvolumens eines Zylinders (132) der Brennkraftmaschine (102) ist, vorzugsweise kleiner oder gleich etwa zehn Prozent eines Kompressionsvolumens des Zylinders (132) der Brennkraftmaschine (102).
