Abstract:
(EN) Continuously variable transmission with a drive belt (3) and with two pulleys (1, 2) that are each provided with two pulley discs (4, 5) with a running surface (8) for arriving in friction contact with a side face (35) of the drive belt (3), wherein both the running surfaces (8) of the pulleys (1, 2) and the side face (35) of the drive belt (3) are made of steel and wherein during operation of the transmission said friction contact is cooled by means of lubrication oil. According to the invention, at least one of the running surfaces (8) is provided with a multitude of (micron-scale) dimples (11, 13) and/or of grooves (12, 14, 15) arranged in a specific pattern for taking up lubrication oil.
(FR) L'invention concerne une transmission à variation continue comprenant une courroie d'entraînement (3) et deux poulies (1, 2) qui sont chacune dotées de deux disques de poulie (4, 5) présentant une surface de roulement (8) permettant un contact de friction avec une face latérale (35) de la courroie d'entraînement (3), les surfaces de roulement (8) des poulies (1, 2) et la face latérale (35) de la courroie d'entraînement (3) étant composées d'acier et ledit contact de friction étant refroidi au moyen d'huile lubrifiante pendant le fonctionnement de la transmission. Selon l'invention, au moins l'une des surfaces de roulement (8) présente une multitude de rides (11, 13) et/ou de rainures (12, 14, 15) (à l'échelle du micron) agencées selon un motif spécifique pour la collecte de l'huile lubrifiante.
