A liquid crystal medium composition, a liquid crystal display device using same, and a manufacturing method therefor. The liquid crystal medium composition comprises the components of: a liquid crystal material, polymerizable monomers, a stabilizer, and a sensitizer. The sensitizer is provided with strong absorbency for an ultraviolet light of a wavelength in the range between 300 nm and 380 nm, and with a structure constituted by a polycyclic aromatic ring composed of multiple benzene rings and by a substituent connected to the aromatic ring. The liquid crystal display device comprises: an upper substrate and a lower substrate arranged parallel to each other, and the liquid crystal medium composition arranged between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The present invention comprises the sensitizer having increased absorption of the ultraviolet light of the wavelengths in the range between 300 nm and 380 nm, where the sensitizer allows the reaction wavelength of the polymerizable monomers to move towards long wavelengths and allows the ultraviolet light of the wavelength in the range between 300 nm and 380 nm to be used for irradiation, thus avoiding the absorption band of the liquid crystal material, reducing destructive effects of the ultraviolet light on the liquid crystal material and on an alignment material, PI, and increasing the polymerization efficiency and homogeneity of the polymerizable monomers.

La présente invention concerne une composition de milieu cristal liquide, un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides l'utilisant et son procédé de fabrication. La composition de milieu cristal liquide comprend les constituants suivants : un matériau de cristal liquide, des monomères polymérisables, un stabilisant, et un sensibilisateur. Le sensibilisateur absorbe fortement une lumière ultraviolette d'une longueur d'onde située dans la plage entre 300 nm et 380 nm, et possède une structure constituée d'un cycle aromatique polycyclique composé de plusieurs cycles benzène et d'un substituant relié au cycle aromatique.
