(EN)The present invention relates to a process for producing glycerol derivatives, in particular bi- and tri-ethers of glycerol and cyclic ethers, from commercial glycerine originating from biodiesel synthesis. To achieve this objective, heterogeneous niobium-based catalysts have been developed, which were subsequently modified by the formation of surface peroxo groups. This modification of the catalyst directs the reaction towards condensation of the glycerol with the formation of larger molecules which are used as fuel bio additives.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de dérivés de glycérol, et notamment de di- et tri-éthers de glycérol et d'éthers cycliques, à partir de glycérine commerciale provenant de la synthèse du biodiesel. À cette fin, on a développé des catalyseurs hétérogènes à base de niobium, avant de les modifier par formation de groupes peroxo superficiels. Cette modification du catalyseur dirige la réaction pour la condensation du glycérol avec la formation de molécules plus grandes, lesquelles sont utilisées comme bio-additifs de combustibles.
(PT)A presente invenção trata um processo de produção de derivados de glicerol, sobretudo di e tri-éteres de glicerol e éteres cíclicos, a partir de glicerina comercial proveniente da síntese de biodiesel. Para alcançar este objetivo, foram desenvolvidos catalisadores heterogéneos a base de nióbio, os quais posteriormente foram modificados pela formação de grupos peroxos superficiais. Esta modificação do catalisador direciona a reação para a condensação do glicerol com a formação de moléculas maiores, que são usadas como bioaditivos de combustíveis.
