Abstract:
(EN) Model systems and methods for exploring mechanisms of carcinogenesis and the acquisition of metastatic ability, and to provide insights into potential therapeutic targets. The systems include and methods involve fusion of a stem cell and a genetically altered cell to evaluate carcinogenesis and metastasis (Fig. 4) and for the discovery and evaluation of new therapeutic targets to inhibit metastasis and other markers of carcinogenesis.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes de modèles et des procédés d'exploration des mécanismes de la carcinogenèse et de l'acquisition d'une capacité métastatique, et propose un nouveau regard sur les cibles thérapeutiques potentielles. Les systèmes comprennent, et les procédés, impliquent la fusion d'une cellule souche et d'une cellule génétiquement modifiée pour évaluer la carcinogenèse et la métastase (figure 4) et pour découvrir et évaluer de nouvelles cibles thérapeutiques pour inhiber la métastase et autres marqueurs de la carcinogenèse.
