The present invention relates to a device for the elimination of particles present in gases, such as smoke and exhaust gases, in particular diesel engine exhaust gases and particles related to ventilation air, comprising a first pass-way (1) having a first inlet (11) for gaseous medium comprising minute particulate material, a means bringing said particles contained in the fraction of particulate material into agglomeration, a collecting means for collecting said agglomerated particles, and a particulate purified gas outlet, whereby the means for agglomeration of particles consists of a series of deflecting surfaces (2-4, 21-28, 31-38) being laterally and longitudinally displaced in relation to each other, which deflecting surfaces (2-4, 21- 28, 31-38, ) cover each 40 to 60 percent of the cross-section of said first pass-way and consists of at least three substantially parallel disposed flat baffles (2-4, 21-28, 31-38) being oblique with an angle a being 120 to 160 degrees to the axis of the said first pass-way (1) and whereby said baffles (2-4, 21-28, 31-38) in a projection of the first pass-way (1) covers the pass-way completely, and whereby the last baffle (4, 28, 38) in the flow direction is arranged to direct agglomerated particles into a second pass-way (10) for disposing said agglomerated particles and wherein a series of consecutively smaller cones (5-7) are arranged in the first pass-way (1) down-stream the parallel disposed baffles (2-4, 21-28, 31-38), whereby the cones (5-7) have their apexes directed downstream in said first pass-way (1), and whereby all but the last cone are truncated.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour l'élimination de particules présentes dans des gaz, comme la fumée et les gaz d'échappement, en particulier les gaz d'échappement des moteurs diesel et les particules liées à l'air de ventilation, comprenant un premier passage (1) ayant un premier orifice d'entrée (11) pour milieu gazeux comprenant des substances particulaires minuscules, un moyen agglomérant lesdites particules contenues dans la fraction de substance particulaire, un moyen collecteur pour recueillir lesdites particules agglomérées, et un orifice de sortie de gaz purifié particulaire, le moyen d'agglomération des particules étant composé d'une série de surfaces déflectrices (2-4, 21-28, 31-38) latéralement et longitudinalement décalées les unes par rapport aux autres, lesdites surfaces déflectrices (2-4, 21- 28, 31-38) couvrant chacune 40 à 60 pourcent de la section transversale dudit premier passage et formant au moins trois déflecteurs plats (2-4, 21-28, 31-38) sensiblement parallèles et obliques avec un angle de 120 à 160 degrés par rapport à l'axe dudit premier passage (1) et lesdits déflecteurs (2‑4, 21-28, 31-38) dans une projection du premier passage (1) couvrant le passage complètement, et le dernier déflecteur (4, 28, 38) dans le sens d'écoulement étant disposé pour diriger les particules agglomérées dans un second passage (10) pour la mise au rebut desdites particules agglomérées et dans lequel une série de cônes consécutifs plus petits (5-7) sont disposés dans le premier passage (1) en aval des déflecteurs parallèles (2-4, 21-28, 31-38), les cônes (5-7) ayant leur sommet dirigé en aval dans ledit premier passage (1), et tous les cônes sauf le dernier étant tronqués.
