Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode for a secondary battery where an electrode active material is applied to a collector, the method including a step of performing surface treatment on the collector so as to provide a morphology forming a surface roughness (Ra) of between 0.001 μm and 10 μm over the entire surface, wherein the surface treatment is performed by chemical or electrical etching using a wet method or reaction gas or ion etching using a dry method so as to improve the adhesion between the electrode active material and the collector, and to an electrode manufactured by using same.
