Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a liquid-crystal alignment material for photo-alignment which comprises a polyamic acid or derivative thereof that was synthesized from: at least one compound selected from the group consisting of tetracarboxylic dianhydrides having a photo-reactive structure and diamines having a photo-reactive structure; a tetracarboxylic dianhydride that has a specific structure but does not have a photo-reactive structure; and a diamine that has a specific structure but does not have a photo-reactive structure. The liquid-crystal display element having a liquid-crystal alignment film for photo-alignment which was formed from this liquid-crystal alignment material for photo-alignment is reduced in residual DC and can have a shortened release time. Image persistence can hence be prevented from occurring.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à un matériau d'alignement de cristaux liquides pour permettre un photo-alignement, ledit matériau comprenant un acide polyamique ou un dérivé de ce dernier qui a été synthétisé à partir : d'au moins un composé sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par les dianhydrides tétracarboxyliques qui présentent une structure photoréactive et des diamines qui présentent une structure photoréactive ; d'un dianhydride tétracarboxylique qui présente une structure spécifique mais qui ne présente pas une structure photoréactive ; et d'une diamine qui présente une structure spécifique mais qui ne présente pas une structure photoréactive. L'élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides qui comprend un film d'alignement de cristaux liquides pour permettre un photo-alignement qui a été formé à partir de ce matériau d'alignement de cristaux liquides pour permettre un photo-alignement, a un courant continu résiduel réduit et peut présenter un temps de libération écourté. On peut donc empêcher l'apparition d'une persistance d'image.
(JA) 本発明は、光反応性構造を有するテトラカルボン酸二無水物および光反応性構造を有するジアミンの群から選ばれる少なくとも1つと共に、特定の構造を有する光反応性構造を有さないテトラカルボン酸二無水物および特定の構造を有する光反応性構造を有さないジアミンを用いて合成されたポリアミック酸またはその誘導体を含有する、光配向用液晶配向剤に関わる。この光配向用液晶配向剤によって形成された光配向用液晶配向膜を有する液晶表示素子は、残留DCの溜まりが小さく、また緩和時間を短くすることができ、残像の発生を防止することができる。
