Provided is an optical sensor wherein detection accuracy deterioration, an increase of the number of components, and a size increase are suppressed. This optical sensor has: a light receiving element (120) having a light receiving surface (120a), which receives light; a detecting unit (140) that detects a tilt of the light receiving surface with respect to the perpendicular direction; and a correcting unit (150a) that corrects output signals of the light receiving element (120) on the basis of output signals of the detecting unit (140). Furthermore, the optical sensor has: a rain drop detecting unit (210) that detects rain drops; a light detecting unit (230) that detects inputted light; and a housing unit (250) that houses the rain drop detecting unit and the light detecting unit. The rain drop detecting unit (210) has a light emitting element (211), a first light receiving element (212), and a first lens (213), and the light detecting unit (230) has a second light receiving element (31) and a second lens (33).
