Abstract
(EN)
A panning stereo endoscope which maintains an up-down orientation as the stereo endoscope pans an operative field, the panning stereo endoscope comprising : a shaft having an axis; first and second optical channels extending along the shaft, each of the first and second optical channels having an off-axis direction of view; and an actuating mechanism carried by the shaft and adapted to (i) synchronously rotate the first and second optical channels about their respective axes, and (ii) synchronously, inversely piston the first and second optical channels along their respective axes.

L'invention concerne un endoscope stéréoscopique panoramique qui maintient une orientation haut-bas quand l'endoscope stéréoscopique effectue un panoramique dans un champ opératoire. L'endoscope stéréoscopique panoramique comprend : un arbre comportant un axe ; un premier et un second canal optique qui se déploient le long de l'arbre, chacun des premier et second canaux optiques comportant une direction de visualisation décalée de l'axe ; et un mécanisme d'actionnement, porté par l'arbre et qui est conçu pour (i) faire tourner de manière synchrone les premier et second canaux optiques autour de leurs axes respectifs, et (ii) de manière synchrone, faire coulisser dans le sens opposé les premier et second canaux optiques le long de leurs axes respectifs.
