The telemedicine method and system disclosed includes at least one wireless telecommunication device (WTD), preferably a general purpose WTD, a plurality of medical exanimation devices configured to acquire medical data from the patient and convey the data to the WTD, and wherein the WTD transmits the patient examination data to a remote diagnostic center, The diagnostic center, a central computing center, or a cloud network may maintain a database of patient records corresponding to the remotely collected examination data, and may perform diagnostic algorithms to assist a medical professional located in the diagnostic center to provide a professional opinion based on the examination data to the patient before the patient leaves the examination location.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et système de télémédecine comportant au moins un dispositif de télécommunication sans fil (WTD), de préférence un dispositif de télécommunication sans fil universel, une pluralité de dispositions d'examen médical configurés pour l'acquisition de données médicales à partir du patient et acheminer les données vers le dispositif de télécommunication sans fil, et le dispositif de télécommunication sans fil transmettant les données d'examen de patient vers un centre de diagnostic éloigné.
