Abstract:
(EN) A stent is formed from a wire (508) having an outer member (522) and a radiopaque core member (526) disposed within a portion of the outer member, and an annular lumen between the radiopaque core member and the outer member. A substance (512) is disposed in the annular lumen to be eluted through at least one opening (504) disposed through the outer member. A plurality of radiopaque core members are disposed within portions of the outer member and are separated by lumens defined by the inner surface of the outer member. The lumens and annular lumens are in fluid communication with each other. In a method for making the stent, a composite wire including an outer member, an intermediate member, and a core member is shaped into a stent pattern and processed to remove the intermediate member and portions of the radiopaque core member, without damaging the outer member.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une endoprothèse constituée d'un fil métallique (508) comportant un élément extérieur (522) et un élément central radio-opaque (526) disposé au sein d'une partie de l'élément extérieur, une lumière annulaire étant présente entre l'élément central radio-opaque et l'élément extérieur. Une substance (512) est placée dans la lumière annulaire en vue de son élution à travers au moins une ouverture (504) traversant l'élément extérieur. Plusieurs éléments centraux radio-opaques sont disposés au sein de parties de l'élément extérieur et sont séparés par des lumières délimitées par la surface intérieure de l'élément extérieur. Lesdites lumières et lumière annulaire sont en communication fluidique les unes avec les autres. Dans le cadre d'un procédé de fabrication de l'endoprothèse, un fil composite comprenant un élément extérieur, un élément intermédiaire et un élément central est façonné en forme d'endoprothèse et travaillé afin de retirer l'élément intermédiaire et des parties de l'élément central radio-opaque sans endommager l'élément extérieur.
