Abstract:
(EN) Methods and arrangements, for supporting cell selection in a mobile terminal (UE1, 1101) associated with a set of serving cell candidates (Cell1, Cell2, Cell5, Cell7, Cell10). The method in the mobile terminal involves evaluating (804, 806) a first serving cell candidate (Cell5) from the set by estimating (804) the distance (d5) from the mobile terminal to the first serving cell candidate and determining (806) whether the estimated distance exceeds a predetermined distance, based on a criterion. The method further involves refraining (810) from performing a call on the first serving cell candidate if the estimated distance exceeds the predetermined distance and instead evaluating (812, 814) a second serving cell candidate (Cell1) from the set. The methods and arrangements enable selection (808, 816) of a serving cell, from amongst the serving cell candidates in the set, within a predefined distance from the mobile terminal.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés et des agencements, destinés à supporter la sélection de cellule dans un terminal mobile (UE, 1101) associé à un ensemble de cellules de service candidates (Cellule1, Cellule2, Cellule5, Cellule7, Cellule10). Le procédé dans le terminal mobile implique l'évaluation (804, 806) d'une première cellule de service candidate (Cellule5) dans l'ensemble, par l'estimation (804) de la distance (d5) depuis le terminal mobile jusqu'à la première cellule de service candidate et par la détermination (806) du fait que la distance estimée dépasse ou non une distance prédéfinie, sur la base d'un critère. Le procédé implique en outre le fait d'empêcher (810) de réaliser un appel sur la première cellule de service candidate si la distance estimée dépasse la distance prédéfinie et, à la place, l'évaluation (812, 814) d'une deuxième cellule de service candidate (Cellule1) dans l'ensemble. Les procédés et agencements permettent la sélection (808, 816) d'une cellule de service, parmi les cellules de service candidates dans l'ensemble, à une distance prédéfinie du terminal mobile.
