Provided is a positive electrode active material for a lithium-ion secondary cell having excellent cycle characteristics, even if charging is performed at a high voltage. A positive electrode active material for a lithium-ion secondary cell, in which Al, and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of Y, Gd, and Er, are present on the surface of particles (1) comprising a lithium-containing composite oxide including Li and at least one transition metal element selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co, and Mn.

Cette invention concerne un matériau actif d'électrode positive pour une pile rechargeable au lithium-ion, présentant d'excellentes caractéristiques de cycle, même en cas de charge à haute tension. Ledit matériau actif d'électrode positive pour pile rechargeable au lithium-ion, comprend de l'Al et au moins une substance sélectionnée dans le groupe constitué par : Y, Gd et Er, sur la surface de particules (1) comprenant un oxyde composite contenant du lithium qui comprend du Li et au moins un métal de transition sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par : Ni, Co et Mn.
