This cooling structure for an inverter device (22) is one for controlling a wheel-driving motor (6). The inverter device (22) has a power circuit unit (28) including an inverter (31) for converting DC electrical power from a battery (19) to AC electrical power for driving from the motor (6), and an inverter case (39) for covering the power circuit unit (28). A fin is provided on the outer surface of the inverter case (39). A cooling channel through which a cooling medium flows is provided on the outer or inner surface of the inverter case (39), and a pump (43) for circulating the cooling medium through the cooling channel is installed on the inverter case (39). This configuration reduces channel resistance for cooling the inverter (31), allows the pump (43) to be made more compact, and enables cooling to be optimized to the amount of heat emitted by the inverter (31).

Cette invention concerne une structure de refroidissement pour un dispositif d'onduleur (22) pour la commande d'un moteur roue (6). Ledit dispositif d'onduleur (22) comprend une unité de circuit d'alimentation (28) comprenant un onduleur (31) pour convertir l'énergie électrique continue (CC) d'une batterie (19) en CA pour l'entraînement à partir du moteur (6) et un boîtier d'onduleur (39) pour couvrir l'unité de circuit d'alimentation (28). Une ailette est disposée sur la surface extérieure du boîtier d'onduleur (39). Un canal de refroidissement à travers lequel s'écoule un agent de refroidissement est disposé sur la surface extérieure ou intérieure du boîtier d'onduleur (39) et une pompe (43) destinée la circulation de l'agent de refroidissement à travers le canal de refroidissement est installée sur le boîtier d'onduleur (39). Cette configuration permet de réduire la résistance du canal pour le refroidissement de l'onduleur (31), de rendre la pompe (43) plus compacte et d'optimiser le refroidissement en fonction de la quantité de chaleur émise par l'onduleur (31).

 このインバータ装置(22)の冷却構造は、車輪駆動用のモータ(6)を制御するインバータ装置(22)の冷却構造である。インバータ装置(22)は、バッテリ(19)の直流電力をモータ(6)の駆動用の交流電力に変換するインバータ(31)を含むパワー回路部(28)と、このパワー回路部(28)を覆うインバータケース(39)とを有する。インバータケース(39)の外面部にフィンを設け、インバータケース(39)内または外面部に、冷却媒体が流れる冷却流路を設け、この冷却流路における冷却媒体を循環させるポンプ(43)を、インバータケース(39)に設置した。このように構成することで、インバータ(31)を冷却する流路抵抗を小さくしてポンプ(43)の小型化等を図り、またインバータ(31)の発熱量に対し適正な冷却を行うことができる。
