Title: BATTERY SEPARATOR, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Abstract:
A battery separator in which a porous film (B) containing a fluorine-based resin and inorganic particles or crosslinking polymer particles is laminated on a porous film (A) comprising a polyolefin-based resin, wherein the content of the particles is between 80 and 97 weight% relative to porous film (B), the average particle size of the particles is equal to or greater than 1.5 times and is less than 50 times the average hole diameter of porous film (A), and specific formula (1) and specific formula (2) are fulfilled. The present invention provides a battery separator exhibiting excellent heat resistance and processability (electrolyte solution permeability, and low curling properties) and having an extremely low degree of increase of air permeation resistance caused by laminating a heat-resistant resin.
