Abstract:
(EN) A system utilizing a high throughput coding mode for CABAC in HEVC is described. The system may include an electronic device configured to obtain a block of data to be encoded using an arithmetic based encoder; to generate a sequence of syntax elements using the obtained block; to compare an Absolute-3 value of the sequence or a parameter associated with the Absolute-3 value to a preset value; and to convert the Absolute-3 value to a codeword using a first code or a second code that is different than the first code, according to a result of the comparison.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système employant un mode de codage à haut débit pour CABAC en HEVC. Le système peut comprendre un dispositif électronique configuré pour obtenir un bloc de données à coder à l'aide d'un codeur arithmétique ; pour générer une suite d'éléments syntaxiques en utilisant le bloc obtenu ; pour comparer une valeur Absolue-3 de la suite ou un paramètre associé à la valeur Absolue-3 à une valeur prédéfinie ; et pour convertir la valeur Absolue-3 en un mot de code en utilisant un premier code ou un deuxième code différent du premier code, suivant le résultat de la comparaison.
