Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method and system for checking an acoustic transducer and the audio system, wherein an inaudible test signal is added on top of a normal audio signal of an electronic device. A signal mix consisting of the test signal and the normal audio signal is derived and converted to a digital signal which is processed by a type of Fourier transformation, e.g. the Goertzel algorithm, to derive the magnitude of the digital signal at the test signal frequency. The derived magnitude is used to gain knowledge about the functionality of the acoustic transducer and its electrical connection to the electric device, as well as the common audio path.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de vérifier un transducteur acoustique et le système audio, où un signal de test inaudible est ajouté par-dessus un signal audio normal d'un dispositif électronique. Un mélange de signaux constitué du signal de test et du signal audio normal est obtenu et converti en un signal numérique qui est traité par un type de transformation de Fourier, par exemple, l'algorithme de Goertzel, afin de calculer l'amplitude du signal numérique à la fréquence du signal de test. L'amplitude calculée est utilisée pour acquérir des connaissances sur la fonctionnalité du transducteur acoustique et son raccordement électrique à l'appareil électrique, ainsi que sur le chemin audio commun.
