The present invention relates to a device and method for providing the illusion of motion. The device consists of at least two movable parts for stimulating the vestibular sense and the kinaesthetic sense of a user independently from each other. A moving headrest is provided for stimulating the vestibular sense of a user and a moving armrest is provided for stimulating the kinaesthetic sense of a user.

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé permettant de fournir l'illusion d'un mouvement. Le dispositif comprend au moins deux parties mobiles pour stimuler le sens vestibulaire et le sens kinesthésique d'un utilisateur indépendamment l'un de l'autre. Un appuie-tête mobile est prévu pour stimuler le sens vestibulaire d'un utilisateur et un accoudoir mobile est prévu pour stimuler le sens kinesthésique d'un utilisateur.
