Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive unit for a vehicle, comprising a combustion engine (VM) and a transmission designed as a multi-speed manual transmission (SG) that includes two partial transmissions (TG1, TG2) and a separate transmission input shaft (GE1, GE2) for each partial transmission. A first clutch (K1, K1'), by means of which a first transmission input shaft (GE1) of a first partial transmission (TG1) can be drivingly connected to the combustion engine (VM), or an electric machine (EM) is associated with said first transmission input shaft (GE1), while a second clutch (K2), by means of which a second transmission input shaft (GE2) of a second partial transmission (TG2) can be drivingly connected to the combustion engine (VM), is associated with said second transmission input shaft (GE2). In the disclosed drive unit, a starting element (AR, AR', AR") is additionally associated with the first transmission input shaft (GE1). Said starting element has at least one hydrodynamic transmission element (HK, HD, HB) comprising a first functional wheel (FR1, STa, STb) and a second functional wheel (FR2, RT) that form a working chamber (FL, FLa, FLb) which can be filled with a fluid to generate a hydrodynamic transmission moment such that at least one starting function affecting the first partial transmission (TG1) can be implemented by means of the starting element (AR, AR', AR").
