Abstract:
A reflector formation method and a reflection-type liquid crystal display prepared using same. The reflector formation method comprises the steps of: step 1. providing metal powder and gold varnish, the metal powder being selected from one or more of aluminium powder, copper powder and zinc powder; step 2. mixing the metal powder and the gold varnish to prepare a slurry; step 3. providing a substrate, and coating or printing the slurry on the substrate; and step 4. baking the substrate coated or printed with slurry at 60-80 °C for 3-5 minutes, and the slurry forming a reflector on the substrate. By mixing metal powder and gold varnish to prepare a slurry which then forms a reflector on a substrate, the uniformity of diffuse reflection light rays of the reflector is increased, and the problem of cost increase in the prior art generated because the mask process and the lithography process are required many times is avoided, thereby simplifying the production process, and at the same time improving the yield of products.
