Abstract:
(EN) A system (Figure 6A or 6B) and method for making adjustments to output effort from a spindle driver (710) using a multi-stage nested control loop (Figure 15) of an active controller (610) to provide constant power to a friction stir zone during a friction stir operation. Providing constant power facilitates temperature control within the friction stir zone and thereby improves the result of the operation such as a weld.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système (Figure 6A ou 6B) et un procédé pour exécuter des réglages sur l'effort de sortie fourni par un organe d'entraînement de broche (710) qui utilise une boucle de commande imbriquée à étages multiples (Figure 15) d'une unité de commande active (610) pour fournir une énergie constante à une zone de friction malaxage pendant une opération par friction malaxage. Le fait de fournir une énergie constante facilite la commande de la température dans la zone de friction malaxage et améliore ainsi le résultat de l'opération, telle qu'une soudure.
