Title: SPECIFIC ION-SELECTIVE COMPOSITE CARBON ELECTRODE FOR CAPACITIVE DEIONIZATION, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation method of a composite carbon electrode for capacitive deionization capable of showing selectivity for a specific ion, and more specifically, to a preparation method of a specific ion-selective composite carbon electrode for capacitive deionization, wherein a material capable of showing selectivity for a specific ion is coated on a surface of a carbon electrode to give selectivity for the specific ion among various types of ions having the same charge, and the ions adsorbed to the coating layer when applying voltage preferentially move into the carbon electrode, thereby enabling effective removal of only a desired specific ion. In addition, the present invention relates to an electrochemical cell for capacitive deionization comprising a specific ion-selective composite carbon electrode for capacitive deionization prepared by the preparation method.
