(EN)Provided is a rotating electric machine the interior of which can be suitably cooled. A coolant supply means (30) of the rotating electric machine (12) supplies a cooling fluid (42) to the bottom (70) of a tubular member (52) from a location closer to one end of a rotary shaft (50) than the bottom (70), and the bottom (70) of the tubular member (52) is equipped with through-holes (86) that run in the axial direction of the rotary shaft (50), with the cooling fluid (42) being supplied to the interior of the tubular member (52) through the through-holes (86).
