A cellulose acylate film containing at least one type of cellulose acylate in which the degree of substitution of an acylate group containing an aromatic group is 0.1 to 2.0, or in which the total degree of substitution of an acylate group containing an aliphatic group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms is 2.0 to 2.6, having an in-plane retardation Re (550) of 80 to 350 nm at a wavelength 550 nm, and having 500 luminescent spots or less per 1 cm2 as produced from an asymmetric retardation region having a major axis diameter of 0.01 to 0.05 mm. This cellulose acylate film is capable of improving the display performance in an IPS- or FFS-type liquid crystal display device in which leakage of light is lower, even when Re is 80 nm or more.

L'invention concerne un film d'acylate de cellulose contenant au moins un type d'acylate de cellulose dans lequel le degré de substitution d'un groupe acylate contenant un groupe aromatique est 0,1 à 2,0, ou dans lequel le degré total de substitution d'un groupe acylate contenant un groupe aliphatique ayant 2 à 4 atomes de carbone est 2,0 à 2,6, ayant un retard dans le plan Re (550) de 80 à 350 nm à une longueur d'onde de 550 nm, et ayant 500 points luminescents ou moins par 1 cm2 tels qu'obtenus à partir d'une région de retard asymétrique ayant un diamètre de grand axe de 0,01 à 0,05 mm. Ce film d'acylate de cellulose est apte à améliorer la performance d'affichage dans un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides de type IPS ou FFS dans lequel une fuite de lumière est inférieure, même quand Re est de 80 nm ou plus.

芳香族基を含むアシル基の置換度が0.1~2.0、又は炭素原子数が2~4の脂肪族を含むアシル基の全置換度が2.0~2.6であるセルロースアシレートを少なくとも一種含み、波長550nmにおける面内レターデーションRe(550)が、80~350nmであり、長軸径が0.01~0.05mmのレターデーション不整領域から生じる輝点が、1cmあたり500個以下であるセルロースアシレートフィルムは、Reが80nm以上であっても、光漏れが小さくIPS型やFFS型の液晶表示装置の表示性能を向上させることができる。
