Abstract
(EN)
[Problem] To provide a battery electrode source material with which a waste part in which is disposed a defect sign part of a coated film of an electrode active material which is coated upon a collector body is small. [Solution] A battery electrode source material comprises a band-shaped collector body (101), a coated film (103) of an electrode active material which is formed in the longitudinal direction upon the collector body, and an insulating protective film (107) which is formed upon a non-coated face of the electrode active material of the collector body along the longitudinal direction of the coated film. A defect sign part (105), which denotes a site in the coated film where a defect part (104a) is present, is disposed upon the insulating protective film (107).
