The invention relates to an improved double break contact system for use in moulded case circuit breakers. The system comprises shaft means (8), fixed contact means (1 and 2) and moving contact means (3) mounted on shaft means (8), spring means (4) operatively mounted on the shaft means (8), holder means (5) securing said spring means (4) wherein holder means being rotatably mounted on the shaft means in a manner that rotation of the shaft means in operation rotates said holder means. L'invention concerne un système de contact amélioré à double coupure pour coupe-circuits à boîtier moulé. Le système comprend un moyen d'arbre (8), des moyens de contact fixes (1 et 2) et un moyen de contact mobile (3) monté sur le moyen d'arbre (8), un moyen de ressort (4) fonctionnellement monté sur le moyen d'arbre (8), un moyen de maintien (5) fixant ledit moyen de ressort (4), le moyen de maintien étant monté de manière rotative sur le moyen d'arbre de telle sorte qu'une rotation du moyen d'arbre en service fasse tourner ledit moyen de maintien. Le moyen de ressort est conçu pour fournir une force qui s'oppose à la force électromagnétique.
