Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von metallurgischem Koks aus in Erdölraffinerien erzeugter Petrolkohle durch Verkokung in "Heat-Recovery"-Koksöfen, welches von in Erdölraffinerien anfallender oder erzeugter Petrolkohle ausgeht, welche von vornherein einen Flüchtigengehalt von 15 bis 19 Gewichtsprozent und einen Ascheanteil von bis zu 2 Gewichtsprozent besitzt, und welche zur zyklischen Verkokung verdichtet in einen Koksofen der Bauart "Non-Recovery" oder "Heat-Recovery" gegeben wird, der mit mindestens einem fremd beheizten Brenner ausgestattet ist, so dass der Primärheizraum oder der Sekundärheizraum unterhalb der Koksofenkammer oder beide auf eine Temperatur von 1000°C bis 1550°C beheizt werden, und innerhalb einer Zeitperiode von weniger als 120 der in der Petrolkohle enthaltene Flüchtigenanteil vollständig ausgast, wobei ein metallurgischer Koks mit einer CSR-Festigkeit von mindestens 44% und einer CRI-Reaktivität von weniger als 33% erhalten wird, welcher zum Einsatz als Hüttenkoks geeignet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft auch einen Koksofen, welcher nach dem Bauprinzip der "Non-Recovery" oder "Heat-Recovery"-Koksöfen aufgebaut ist, der einen Primärheizraum enthält, und welcher mit Brennern ausgestattet ist, die den Primärheizraum beheizen.

The invention relates to a process for producing metallurgical coke from petroleum coke produced in mineral oil refineries by coking in "heat-recovery" coking ovens, which proceeds from petroleum coke which is obtained or produced in mineral oil refineries and which from the outset has a volatiles content of 15 to 19 per cent by weight and an ash content of up to 2 per cent by weight, and which, for cyclical coking, is introduced compressed into a coking oven of the "non-recovery" or "heat-recovery" design equipped with at least one externally heated burner, such that the primary heating space or the secondary heating space below the coking oven chamber is, or both are, heated to a temperature of 1000°C to 1550°C, and, within a period of time of less than 120, the volatiles component present in the petroleum coke outgases completely, giving a metallurgical coke having a CSR strength of at least 44% and a CRI reactivity of less than 33%, which is suitable for use as metallurgical coke. L'invention concerne un procédé pour obtenir du coke métallurgique à partir de charbon de pétrole obtenu dans les raffineries de pétrole, par cokéfaction dans des fours à coke de type « Heat-Recovery ». Ce coke est issu du charbon de pétrole obtenu ou produit dans les raffineries de pétrole. Ce charbon comprend d'emblée une teneur en composés volatils allant de 15 à 19 % en poids et une teneur en cendres pouvant aller jusqu'à 2 % en poids. Pour réaliser une cokéfaction cyclique, ledit charbon est tassé dans un four à coke du type « Non-Recovery » ou « Heat-Recovery » qui est équipé d'au moins un brûleur chauffé de manière externe, de telle sorte que la chambre de chauffage primaire ou la chambre de chauffage secondaire en dessous de la chambre du four à coke ou les deux soient chauffées à une température allant de 1000°C à 1550°C, et que, durant une période de moins de 120, la teneur en composés volatils contenue dans le charbon de pétrole soit totalement éliminée. On obtient un coke métallurgique ayant un indice de résistance CSR d'au moins 44 % et un indice de réactivité CRI de moins de 33 %, ledit coke pouvant être utilisé comme coke métallurgique. La présente invention concerne également un four à coke construit selon le principe des fours à coke de type « Non-Recovery » ou « Heat-Recovery » et qui contient une chambre de chauffage primaire.
