Abstract:
An external frame (200) of a display device, a backlight module, and a liquid crystal display device. The external frame (200) is composed of at least two segments (201 to 204). The segments (201 to 204) comprise an installation section (201) for installing a light source (140) of the backlight module. The external frame (200) of the backlight module is divided into a plurality of segments (201 to 204) and one segment (201) thereof is used as the installation section (201) for installing the light source (140), so that when the light source (140) is assembled, first the light source (140) is installed on the installation section (201) of the external frame (200), assembling actions required in the assembling process thereof are simple, assembling of the light source (140) on a back plate (100) or an aluminum extrusion is omitted, and the assembling process is simplified. In addition, when the light source (140) of the backlight module is replaced, it is only required to demount the installation section (201) of the external frame (200) and replace the light source (140) on the external frame (200), so that the optical performance of the backlight module is prevented from being affected as dusts enter the interior of the module when many components of the backlight module need to be detached and most of the components of the backlight module are exposed in the air. Meanwhile, the replacement process of the light source (140) is simplified, and the stability of the liquid crystal display device is improved.
