A method to manufacture synthetic esters from a liquid stream formed during a cyclohexane oxidation process and the liquid stream contains acids, peroxides, hydroxycaproic acid esters, esters of cyclohexaneodiols, lactones, products of cyclic compounds condensation, as well as water, and this method is characterized by that the liquid stream undergoes an initial process of reducing peroxide compounds and peroxy acids with the use of a methanol-and- water solution of formaldehyde, and the reduced products are, next, esterified in the presence of a catalyst and methanol, and, next, the esterification mixture obtained is distilled, and the distillates produced are trans-esterified with the use of polyhydroxy alcohols.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'esters synthétiques à partir d'un courant liquide formé pendant un procédé d'oxydation de cyclohexane et le courant liquide contient des acides, des peroxydes, des esters d'acide hydroxycaproïque, des esters de cyclohexanediols, des lactones, des produits de condensation de composés cycliques, ainsi que de l'eau, et ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que le courant liquide subit un procédé initial de réduction de composés peroxydes et de peroxy acides, à l'aide d'une solution dans méthanol-et-eau de formaldéhyde, et les produits réduits sont, par la suite, estérifiés en présence d'un catalyseur et de méthanol, puis le mélange d'estérification obtenu est distillé, et les distillats obtenus sont transestérifiés à l'aide de polyhydroxy alcools.
