Abstract
(EN)
[Problem] To clarify a polynucleotide that is a novel causative gene for cancer to thereby provide a method for detecting the aforesaid polynucleotide or a polypeptide encoded thereby and a kit and a primer set for the detection method. [Solution] Based on a finding that a fused gene consisting of a part of PIBF1 gene and a part of RET gene, said fused gene occurring in some cancer patients, is a causative gene for cancer, a method for detecting a polynucleotide that is the aforesaid gene and a polypeptide encoded thereby has been constructed. According to this detection method, a fused gene consisting of a part of PIBF1 gene and a part of RET gene or a fused protein encoded thereby is detected. The aforesaid primer set or detection kit contains a sense primer that is designed on the basis of the part originating in PIBF1 gene and an antisense primer that is designed on the basis of the part originating in RET gene.

[Problème] l'invention vise à clarifier un polynucléotide qui est un nouveau gène responsable du cancer pour ainsi fournir un procédé de détection du polynucléotide mentionnée ci-dessus ou d'un polypeptide codé par ce dernier et un kit et un ensemble d'amorce pour le procédé de détection. [Solution] sur la base d'une découverte qu'un gène fusionné constitué du gène PIBF1 une partie de PIBF1 une partie de gène RET, ledit gène fusionné se produisant chez certains des patients atteints de cancer, est un gène causal du cancer, un procédé pour détecter un polynucléotide qui est le gène mentionné ci-dessus et un polypeptide codé a ainsi été construit. Selon ce procédé de détection, un gène fusionné constitué du gène PIBF1 et une partie de gène RET ou une protéine de fusion ainsi codées est détectée. L'amorce précitée ensemble ou par kit de détection contiennent une amorce sense qui est conçue sur la base de la partie provenant du gène PIBF1 et une amorce antisense qui est conçue sur la base de la partie provenant de gène RET.

【課題】癌の新たな原因遺伝子であるポリヌクレオチドを解明し、これにより、当該ポリヌクレオチド又はそれがコードするポリペプチドの検出方法、及びそのためのキット及びプライマーセットを提供することを課題とする。 【解決手段】癌患者の一部に存在している、PIBF1遺伝子の一部とRET遺伝子の一部との融合遺伝子が癌の原因遺伝子であることを見出し、当該遺伝子であるポリヌクレオチド及びそれがコードするポリペプチドの検出方法を構築した。前記検出方法では、PIBF1遺伝子の一部とRET遺伝子の一部との融合遺伝子、あるいは、それがコードする融合蛋白質を検出する。前記プライマーセット又は検出用キットは、PIBF1遺伝子由来部分から設計されるセンスプライマーと、RET遺伝子由来部分から設計されるアンチセンスプライマーとを含む。
