An antenna system including a signal source, at least one antenna coupled to the signal source, a matching circuit connected to the signal source at a first port and to the at least one antenna at a second port and operative to match the at least one antenna to the signal source, the matching circuit having a characteristic impedance with respect to the first port and the second port, real and imaginary parts of the characteristic impedance not being defined by the Hilbert transform.

La présente invention se rapporte à un système d'antenne comprenant : une source de signal ; au moins une antenne, qui est couplée à la source de signal ; un circuit d'adaptation, qui est connecté à la source de signal à un premier port et qui est connecté à la ou aux antennes à un second port. Le circuit d'adaptation est utilisé afin de mettre la ou les antennes en correspondance par rapport à la source de signal. Le circuit d'adaptation a une impédance caractéristique par rapport au premier port et au second port, des parties réelle et imaginaire de l'impédance caractéristique n'étant pas définies par la transformée de Hilbert.
